Auchan Saint-Priest announces his moulting with a pharaonic project

A pharaonic project that metamorphoses the entire area, or almost. For the first phase of the works, which runs until 2022, more than 5000 m² will be added to the sales area, now 28,852 m². The space will be released with the demolition next year from Ikea and Leroy-Merlin stores. The two signs are installed in Vénissieux as a reminder.

An expansion of the shopping center will be built on the former country of the Scandinavian brand. In total there will be about thirty signs to settle. But for the time being no name has been filtered.

In addition, access is being redesigned to allow more flexibility and a parking space of 2500 places is being built. Eventually a city farm is installed on the roof of the building, so that fruit and vegetables can be produced.

The real estate subsidiary Ceetrus of Auchan will invest a total of € 160 million to fully commemorate the area. The Métropole will also contribute € 2.88 million for accessibility works.

The site is expected to last until the spring of 2022 before a new phase of work for the establishment of offices and recreational signs.
