The Japanese car manufacturer Nissan plans to announce the transfer of a new British SUV from Britain, a new blow to the British government's economic plans for the exit after the EU, Sky News reported Saturday.
The network quoted sources who said that Nissan would announce its decision to move the X-Trail production process of the northeastern city of Sunderland on Monday.
There was no direct response from Nissan to what was being distributed through the media.
Nissan, which employs some 7,000 people in Sunderland, warned in 2016 that its investment in Great Britain would be influenced by London's future trade relationship with the EU.
