They will enter the European market in early 2019. Both new products have retained a significant relationship with the models Ceed and Ceed SW, have a similar design of suspension. Each of them, however, has its own engine wire and individual settings for the suspension.
The length of the ProCeed is much larger than the Ceed Sportswagon (5 mm, 4.605 mm), and the overhang at the front is increased to 885 mm. In this case, the height of the novelty is only 1.422 mm – 43 mm below the Ceed SW. Together with Ceed, only the bonnet and the front fenders, all other body panels – remained the original. The design of the front bumper is unique.
The engine range includes 1.6 T-GDi for the GT version and various variants of the "European" Kia engines – for GT Line versions. For ProCeed, two shipping options are available: a six-speed manual and a seven-step preselective robot with two couplings for the 1.4 T-GDi engine.
Kia Ceed GT replaces the model that was introduced in 2013 and became the first "hot hatchback" under the Kia brand. The new Ceed GT has a powerful 1.6 T-GDI engine with direct fuel injection and turbocharging. Engine power is 204 liters. a. at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 265 Nm is available in the range 1,500 to 4,500 rpm.
For those who prefer a more traditional solution, the GT will be available with a six-speed manual transmission, but for the first time a 7-stage preselective transmission with double clutch (7DCT) of its own design is also offered.
The new Ceed GT differs from the "ordinary" Ceed with unique strokes in the design of the exterior and interior. The car comes with 18-inch wheels. The original appearance has bumpers and the rear integrated functional diffuser. A spoiler has been installed at the rear of the roof.
Both presented new models are aimed at the European market. At the moment it is too early to talk about the withdrawal of these models on the Russian market.
