At the disposal of Lada Xray Club were photo's on which the loading of an "off-road" part was recorded on an autocar. In which city are photos taken? – is not specified. The club assumes that AVTOVAZ Xray Cross has delivered to dealers. According to Kolesa.ru the sale of new items starts in October-November, but it is possible that orders for the "cross-over" start earlier.
The premiere of the serial Xray Cross took place at the Moscow Motor Show in late August. Externally of the standard model, the cross version is characterized by the presence of a plastic bodykit. The length of the "off-road" hatch is 4171 mm, which is 6 mm larger than the usual five-door, the width across the entire country is 1810 mm (+46 mm), the height is 1645 mm (+75 mm). The ground clearance is increased from 195 to 215 mm.
Xray Cross has modified the front suspension – instead of Logan lower levers (Xray is built on platform B0) installed in the form of an L, copied from the suspension Vesta. Van Vesta hatchback also got behind disc brakes. In addition, an electric appeared instead of electrohydraulic power steering.
Another novelty has a selector for selecting driving modes. There are five such modes: standard ESC control, ESC shutdown, "snow, mud", "sand" and Sport. For the Lada Xray Cross there are also: driver and front passenger airbags, multimedia system, rear view camera, parktronic, steering column adjustment for height and range, heated front and rear seats.
"Off-road" hatch will be offered with 122-strong engine 1.8, which is combined with a "mechanics" or a robotic box. The disc is only on the front.
The price of the new version has not yet been announced. The usual Xray with the engine 1.8 and 5MKP in the top equipment costs at least 765 900 rubles. The cross will probably be thousands of fifty more expensive.
Remember that in September in Russia a novelty Lada has been launched – restyling Granta: Kolesa.ru has already met a new model, all details – in our material.
