Last October sales of electric cars rose by almost 44% on the French market (3,694 registrations). Since the beginning of the year, the increase is more limited to "only" + 16%.
The Renault Zoe (photo) is still at the top with 1,745 units sold last month. The diamond of the city mark represents more than 60% of the registrations of zero-emission vehicles. Then follow the Nissan Leaf, Smart Fortwo, BMW i3 and Volkswagen e-Golf.
Rechargeable hybrids in October
On the other hand, there is less good news for plug-in hybrids, which see their sales drop by just over 11% compared to October 2017. No worries, because since the beginning of the year the trend is also down. the increase (+ 37%).
