Saudi Arabia launches the conquest of the planetary gas business

Saudi Arabia wants to lead gas production worldwide, according to the Financial Times in an article.

"In the future, the world will become the playground of Saudi Aramco," said Minister of Energy and President of the State's Saudi oil and gas company, Khalid al-Falih.

"We can stand with everyone and shoulder to shoulder overcome them", Assured Al-Falih in relation to the other international actors in the gas trade, whose growing demand exceeds that of oil.

The president of Saudi Aramco said that next March, Riyadh is planning reduce the production of crude oil to about 9.8 million barrels per day. As far as exports are concerned, they would drop to 6.9 million barrels per day, compared to 8.2 from three months ago.
