Alec Baldwin made his return to "Saturday Night Live" this week as the show tackled the madness that was the meeting of Kanye West-Donald Trump in the Oval Office.
The bit opened with a CSPAN graphic saying that the discussion included topics like "alternative universes", "Superman" and "flying machines".
Kanye, played by cast member Chris Redd, immediately launched a tug, marrying the virtues of his "Make America Great Again" hat.
"Yes, it's true, I flew here using the power of this hat," he said.
The NFL Hall of Fame, Jim Brown, played by Kenan Thompson, was "already quite nervous".
"I have a fantastic lunch to get here, but first I'm sure Kanye wants to take a quick brief or two," said Baldwin.
"Time is a myth!" Kanye screamed.
Through the voiceovers, it did not take long for Baldwin's Trump to understand that Kanye was him: "Oh my God, it's black to me".
"I played football with a leather helmet and my brain works even better than it does," said fake Brown.
But Baldwin Trump still felt like he was out of the top meeting.
"Remember today's lesson, blacks love me – much more than they love Alec Baldwin," Baldwin said.
Of course it was only after the sketch that housed Seth Meyers told the fun part of Kanye. He revealed that he was there when the rapper made an appearance and presented him a sketch on the interruption of the awards.
"It's fun, because I do it," West replied, according to Meyers.
They ended up drawing, making fun of West's madness. Meyers then released the news that the sketch was in 2007, two years before he interrupted Taylor Swift in 2009.
