Biennale de la danse de Lyon: The paintings not to be missed

The people of Lyon have returned to peace. The Biennale de la danse parade was able to reinvest the streets of Lyon after a tormented 2016, which was to take place in the park of Gerland stadium to prevent the terrorist threat. The 4500 dancers were able to march again from Place des Terreaux to Place Bellecour, finding their audience on a peninsula still positioned under high surveillance.

The show was broadcast live on our website from 15h. The best sequences will be broadcast live on France 3 Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes this Sunday evening from 20h15.

For the record, here are some of the most beautiful paintings of the 2018 show:

"Peace and friendship between France and Algeria": a group formed by dancers from Allier, Puy de Dôme and Drôme / Ardèche. Choreography proposed by the club Mediation dance / Compagnie A & # 39; Corps (Karim Amghar and Marjolaine Cheval):

Parade of the "Super-Potable" group (Savoie and Haute-Savoie) Espace Malraux and national scene of Chambéry and Savoie (choreography: Dominique Guilhaudin and Compagnie Gambit)

Parade of the group "The colors of peace". 300 dancers of all colors symbolizing the rainbow flag, symbol of fraternity and cohabitation – Ateliers Frappaz – National Center for the street and public spaces in Villeurbanne.

At the end of the great parade, 15,000 Lyonnais danced and put together John Lennon's song: "Imagine"
