Here Are The Winners At The 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards

Increasing your chances at the Oscars next month, Black Panther took home the first prize at the Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony on Sunday in Los Angeles, honoring the best film and television performances.

The cast of the superhero film Marvel – including Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong & # 39; o, Michael B. Jordan, Angela Bassett, Sterling K. Brown, Danai Gurira and Andy Serkis – took home the Cast Outstanding Performance Award in a Motion Picture.

"To be young, gifted and black – we all know what it means to be told that there's no place to show you," said Boseman, claiming that the film has forever changed the Hollywood scene.

The other candidates in the category were A star was born, BlacKkKlansman, Bohemian Rhapsody, is Crazy Asian people.

The SAG Awards are often considered a good indicator of which actors will go to the gold of the Oscars.

Last week, Black Panther became the first superhero movie to be nominated for the best film at the Academy Awards. He was nominated in six other categories, mainly for his technical work. These prizes will be delivered on February 24th.
