Kanye should not say everything about Trump – Chappelle

Comedy legend Dave Chappelle claims that rapper Kanye West "should not say all that shit" about Donald Trump and slavery.

West is a great supporter of the president of the United States, despite critics claiming that Trump's election has encouraged white supremacists throughout the United States. The couple met in the White House last week, in the West calling Mr. Trump a "father figure" whose characteristic hat makes him feel "like Superman".

The rapper "Gold Digger" recently called slavery a "choice" and called for the abolition of the amendment to the US Constitution that has banned it.

In a new CNN interview, Chappelle calls West "a genius" who needs to be a little more careful with his choice of words.

"I'm not angry with Kanye, that's my brother – I love him, I support him," says Chappelle. "But, you know, I do not have to agree with everything he says, I just trust him as a person of intent, but yes, he should not say all that shit."

When Mr. Trump was elected in 2016, Chappelle said he was ready to give the reality star a chance. Not anymore.

"I should not have said that shit."
