MEN readers can get exclusive priority tickets for the new musical "& Juliet"

C & # 39; is a new musical that arrives in Manchester this year & M.E.N. readers can access exclusive pre-sale tickets.

& # 39; & Juliet & # 39; will be premiered at the Manchester Opera House for four weeks before heading to the West End.

The new show asks what would have happened if Juliet had not died at the end of Romeo and Juliet – and if her famous finale really was just its beginning?

In this alternative version of Shakespeare's infamous love story, Juliet makes a mockery of Romeo running to Paris with his friends in a whirlwind journey of romance and self-discovery.

The music in & Juliet was written by Max Martin, whose 25-year career has seen songs for artists such as Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Westlife, Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys.

Songs like Baby One More time, Love Me Like You Do and I Can not Feel My Face, will be performed in new arrangements by Tony and Grammy, the award-winning Bill Sherman.

The role of Giulietta will be played by Miriam-Teak Lee, who was one of the stars of Hamilton's original London cast, and was awarded Best actress in a musical at the Stage Debut Awards for the role of Claire DeLoone in On The Town.
