Stormy Daniels dropped defamation claim against former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, United States News & Top Stories

WASHINGTON (BLOOMBERG) – Stephanie Clifford, the adult film actress best known as Stormy Daniels, was granted permission to abandon her libel application against former Donald Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen.

A federal judge in Los Angeles on Monday allowed Clifford to change his case – which questions the validity of a 2016 non-disclosure agreement to remain silent about his alleged adventure with Trump – and to abandon the defamation request.

The judge rejected Cohen's request to give him the costs and fees of lawyers.
