It is a euphemism to say that 2019 is a great year for movies. It is the year when we see the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it in the end, starting with Captain Marvel, with the Oscar® award Brie Larson and a Samuel L. Jackson with a captivating appearance, enhanced by the CGI, and finally The Avengers: Endgame, the blockbuster that will conclude the so-called Stage Three of the MCU.

It is also the year when we see the MCU start again Spider-Man: away from home, the second film by Spidey by Tom Holland, ready to take us in new directions and new villains, including Mysterio by Jake Gyllenenhaal.

It is the year we get Star Wars: Episode IX – and it's also a real subtitle! J.J. Directed by Abrams, third and final episode in the original follow-up trilogy Star Wars presumably, the films will show us how the saga of Rey (Daisy Ridley), Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Finn (John Boyega) ends – for now. It will also show how the directors have chosen to say goodbye to the late Carrie Fisher, the beloved Leia of the franchise, who died in 2016 during the production of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

It is the year when we discover what it means to show off a smile in a DC Extended Universe film thanks to the apparently ironic Shazam!, starring Spindle alum Zachary Levi.

And it's the year we see if Go outJordan Peele can do it again. The Key and Peele funnyman became Oscar-winning director is back in the scare business with We.

But more than anything else, 2019 is the year in which we get the answer to the biggest cinematic mystery of 2018: superheroes are dead Avengers: Infinity War really, you know, deaddead? We already know that we're getting a new Spider-Man movie (although the Webslinger is said to be "far from home." Hmm …) But what about Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther, Doctor Strange's by Benedict Cumberbatch, Star-Lord of Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana & # 39; s Gamora and more? They will all be back by the end of End of the game? And what about the future of Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man? The superstar actor who put the MCU movies on his back went on stage? If so, does that mean that Tony Stark is also on a break from Marvel? Or does that mean we'll have a new Tony Stark?
