– The Entre Ríos Symphony Orchestra is preparing for a new free concert in Paraná, together with the famous musicians Martha Argerich and Mauricio Vallina • The initiative takes place in the context of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of La Sinfónica and of the Provincial Autonomous Institute of Insurance

The new concert will be free admission and will be held on Saturday 18 August at 8.30 pm at the Provincial Center of Paraná, located at San Martín 15.

Interested parties should collect the tickets previously at the Provincial Convention Center on Thursday 16 August from 10 to 17. Two will be delivered per person. On the day of the show, the room is accessible in order of arrival until the capacity is full.

For this special presentation of La Sinfónica, which celebrates its 70th anniversary, as well as the Autonomous Provincial Insurance Institute of Entre Ríos (Iapser), Martha Argerich and Mauricio Vallina will be invited. The figure of both musicians has become a musical reference in recent history all over the world. Together with these exceptional figures, the goal of the concert is to focus on the permanent interest for the development of generations of young musicians.

• Luxury guests

Martha Argerich, is a famous pianist. He was born in Buenos Aires in 1941 and at the age of 3 he had his first contact with the piano, beginning his musical education through the play method of Ernestina de Kusrow.

In 1954, already in Vienna, he began his studies with F. Gulda. Later he also received lessons from A. B. Michelangeli, N. Magaloff and Stefen Askenase.

In 1957 he won the first prizes in two prestigious competitions: the Busoni de Bolzano and the Geneva International, which had been declared desert since 1949. From 1960, when he recorded his record for Deutsche Grammophon, he made a & # 39 intense recording activity for the most important labels all over the world. In 1965 he won one of the highest international prizes for piano, the First Prize of the Warsaw Chopin Competition and the Polish Radio Award for his performances of waltzes and mazurkas.

In 1980 Argerich's interest in chamber music became the central axis of his musical activity, relegating his performances with the orchestra and postponing his performance as a solo piano recitalist forever. Since then, there have been rare occasions when Argerich was listened to while doing a single job in front of the keyboard.

Official prizes and distinctions have been awarded during his career, and to mention the most recent we refer to the Kennedy Center award assigned to him by B. Obama (president of the United States, 2016). One is one of the most requested artistic figures of the musical task and that after several years of absence in the scenes of the interior of Argentina, will appear in Entre Ríos.

For his part, Mauricio Vallina is a concert pianist based in Brussels. He has been awarded in national and international competitions in which prominent musicians have recognized his strong individuality. After graduating with the Diploma d'oro in Havana, his hometown, he acquired a solid education in the "Tchaikovsky" Conservatory of Moscow (Master of Fine Arts, 1996), after which he continued his refinement at the Conservatory. Royal Music of Madrid and in the International Piano Foundation of Como.

The guidance and influence of Roberto Urbay, Henrietta Mirvis, Irina Plotnikova, Joaquín Soriano, Alicia de Larrocha, Dimitri Bashkirov, Fou Tsong, Zenaida Manfugás and Martha Argerich, among other recognized masters, give an extraordinary dimension to his artisticism . Mauricio Vallina is considered one of the most interesting pianists of his generation.

• The concert program

The complete program of the presentation includes the interpretation of the works of Franz Liszt with Los preludios and Tottentanz. The works will be accompanied by the soloist Mauricio Vallina

For the second part of the concert there will be an interpretation of Beethoven's work with Leonora's Ouverture and Franz Liszt's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra. This second part will be accompanied by the pianist Martha Argerich as a guest.

As usual, La Sinfónica will be directed by maestro Luis Gorelik.

• Concert on the coast of Uruguay

It should be noted that the proposal made in the capital of Entre Ríos will also be replicated in the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, of Concepción de Uruguay, declared a provincial architectural heritage, on 20 August at 21. The Symphony will be presented together with Martha Argerich with works by Liszt and Mozart
