Scientists from the Moscow Scientific and Practical Center for Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology mention the most dangerous diseases that can develop as a result of the rejection of the body of the color pigments used in applying the tattoo. The results of the study are published in the article "Observation of the formation of red flat lichen at the site of a tattoo", reports Tengrinews.kz on the basis of lenta.ru.
According to a specialist in laser technologies in cosmetics Vitaly Mikryukov, an allergic reaction is usually caused by a red pigment. To obtain this color, a pink-red mercury mineral of cinnabar is used: it is it that provokes irritation.
Dermatovenereologist Elena Kovtunova talked about another common problem – Staphylococcus aureus. This infection occurs when the owner of a fresh tattoo does not take good care of her and the healing process is accompanied by a purulent inflammation.
Kovtunova also warned of the risk of hepatitis C if no sterility was observed during the drawing. "Scientists have done a lot of research – 124 scientific works from 30 countries analyzed – and found a direct link between the amount of tattoos on the human body and the development of hepatitis C. People with tattoos, especially if they are covered with large parts of the body , are at increased risk of getting hepatitis, "- she warned.
In addition, the expert advised to avoid tattoos on the skin surface with moles. "Patients often ask me to remove moles where they want to make a tattoo, do not put the tattoo on the spot where there is a mole, because it can become a melanoma," explained Kovtunova.
In March, a Brit of Russian origin treated 90 percent of the body with tattoos and stated that this was not enough for him. The 32-year-old Adam Kurlykale made his first tattoo – a small inscription that I am – 12 years ago, after he was cured of cancer.
