The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo is expanding.
According to the Ministry of Health in Kinshasa, the virus was detected in 265 people; 186 people died of the infection and another 88 people were cured. The Ebola outbreak is concentrated on the region around the city of Beni in the troubled province of North Kivu.
To prevent further spread of the fever, a new vaccine has been in use since the beginning of August. Neighboring country Uganda claims to vaccinate 1,600 helpers in health centers along the border.
