The result of the study was clear. The more participants considered healthy factors, the lower the risk of developing colon cancer.

Participants who did not smoke, ate well and were physically active had a lower risk than those who did not consider the healthy option for any of the factors.

Those who lived healthy on all five factors had the lowest risk of colon cancer.

All factors have an equally healthy effect

It is interesting that it does not matter which factors are taken into account.

Sufficient physical exercise therefore has the same positive effect on the health of the intestines, as the cessation of cigarettes.

There are more than 50 different gene variants that are known to slightly increase the risk of colorectal cancer.

The current study now shows that this risk can be significantly reduced by leading the affected people through a healthy life.

Of course, people without an increased risk must pay attention to a healthy lifestyle.

This is not only responsible for the well-being of the gut, but also for a completely healthy body.
