Apex Legends has 10 million players; Save EA stock prices

Apex Legends, the last game of Respawn Entertainment and the company's first foray into the battle royale genre, has saved EA's stock prices bringing over 10 million players in the first 72 hours of release. This is the last awesome feat for the game, set in the same universe as Fall of the Titans series, arrives not long after Apex Legends he saw a million unique players in his first eight hours of release.

News of Apex Legends & # 39; the surprising release was leaked before Respawn initially initially wanted, but did little to hinder the game's immediate popularity. While there are a lot of real battle games in today's market, from PlayerUnknownit's BattleGrounds to the very popular Fortnite, Apex Legends has impressed many since its free-to-play version. Receiving criticism and appreciation from fans for its Polish talents and unique for a real battle title, such as role-based Legends characters and an intuitive ping system, Apex Legends has already left its mark in the genre.

According to the CEO of Respawn Entertainment, Vince Zampella (via: IT'S AT), Apex Legends reached over 10 million players during the first 72 hours. In addition, more than 1 million competing players were on the server during the same period. As pointed out by the Twitter user Benji-Sales, the release of Apex Legends it also recorded an increase in the share prices of the parent EA of Respawn. This increase has recovered the losses recorded by the company during the quarterly report on earnings and share prices are now even higher than they were before the initial fall.

Considering the financial underperformance of the first two Fall of the Titans games (although both have been well received by critics and by the small but loyal group of fans of the game), must be a relief for both Respawn and EA Apex Legends it is not behaving very well, but it has been taken on its own on an economic level by EA in the short term. In terms that are perhaps more relevant to the players, however, this level of success may eventually lead to the revitalization of the whole Fall of the Titans IP. While Titanfall 3 it is confirmed that it is not currently under development thanks to the Respawn focus Apex Legends, other Fall of the Titans-set properties are scheduled for release before the end of the year.

Depending on how well Apex Legends performs in the long term, a third adequate entry into the Fall of the Titans the main series could very well become a reality again, although it would not be surprising if Respawn wanted to focus more on the free-to-play battle title for the foreseeable future. In both cases, it is certainly encouraging to see the company have a real success in their hands, especially with such a sleek and elegant game as Apex Legends.
