Bundesliga: Bayern win - and worried about two players

FC Bayern also win their third game of the season: In the 3-1 win against Bayer Leverkusen, Tolisso, Robben and James meet for the Munich and Wendell by penalty for the guests.
Tolisso must be replaced in the first half after a duel with a knee injury. Rafinha limps off after a foul by Karim Bellarabi – substitute Leverkusen sees red.
Here are the results and the table of the Bundesliga.

FC Bayern Munich have also won their third match in the current Bundesliga season – and the crisis at Bayer Leverkusen tightened. The Munich defeated the Leverkusen despite deficit earned 3: 1 (2: 1), but had to accept the injury-related failure of world champion Corentin Tolisso. Rafinha also replaced Karim Bellarabi in the closing stages after a rough foul. The 80th-minute Leverkusen saw Red. "The foul of Bellarabi was insane," Bavarian President Uli Hoeneß railed, "he wanted to hurt him deliberately, who has been locked for three months for stupidity."

While Bayern also won their fifth competitive match under coach Niko Kovac, the situation for his colleague Heiko Herrlich after the historic Leverkusen false start is uncomfortable. Three Bundesliga defeats at the start – that had never happened since Bayer's rise to the upper house in 1979.

Wendell (6th, hand penalty) brought the safe defensive guests even in the lead. But the strong Tolisso (10th) and Arjen Robben (19th) turned the game. James (89.) made the final score. National players Serge Gnabry made an inconspicuous start-up debut for the 45-minute, very agile and agile Munich team, who dominated at any time even after the lead.

In front of 75,000 spectators, not two minutes had passed when referee Tobias Welz pointed to Thiago's handball to the point. Bayern protested, but Welz stayed with the video assistant after a short consultation. Volland stepped in, but failed to Manuel Neuer. Because several Munich were in the penalty area in his shot, but the penalty was repeated – Wendell turned sure.

    An unfortunate duel for Tolisso

Bayern repaired the first residue under Kovac immediately. Wendell lost the ball, over Robert Lewandowski this came to Tolisso. The Frenchman played with Jonathan Tah Bande and left goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky in his debut for Bayer no chance of defense. Also with Robbens goal to 2: 1 into the angle, which preceded a blunder of Tah, for Hradecky was nothing to do.

Herrlich's tactic with defensive five-string and only three offensive players had missed their effect. The fact that he brought Julian Brandt for the injured captain Lars Bender, did not cause more momentum.

Robben is happy about a present

Bayern's World Champion Corentin Tolisso had to be replaced after an unfortunate duel with Kevin Volland in the 38th minute with suspected cruciate ligament injury. The 24-year-old Frenchman, who was in the starting line-up for the first time this season, was only able to leave the pitch with the help of two supervisors. For him, James came into the game.

The Bavarians could afford to spare the ailing Mats Hummels (ankle) and Leon Goretzka (hip) with a view to the Champions League start on Wednesday at Benfica. Thomas Müller (30th) and Robben (32nd) could have increased. In the second half, Bayern took out two, three courses, much to the chagrin of Kovac.

In addition to Tolisso and defender Rafinha could fail for the time being. The 33-year-old Brazilian injured his foot in a wicked foul on Leverkusen's Karim Bellarabi. Bellarabi saw the red card. "That was not just red, that was double red," said Bayern coach Niko Kovac. He hopes Rafinha may not have ligament damage.

Kovac lamented the hard pace against his players in the first games of the season. "I feel like we are fair game!" On the first match day, Frenchman Kingsley Coman had a hard time injuring a foul on 1899 Hoffenheim.
