A Northern California lady has pleaded not responsible in a head-on highway crash that killed a man in an oncoming car as she was allegedly trying to try suicide.
Grace Elizabeth Ward’s attorney entered the plea to 2nd-diploma murder on her behalf as Ward sat in a wheelchair on Friday in Shasta County Outstanding Courtroom. She stays jailed on $ one.five million bail.
The 28-year-outdated Ward advised the California Highway Patrol she was making an attempt to eliminate herself when she crossed into oncoming visitors on Interstate five on Jan. seven.
Authorities say she came away with only a broken leg, but killed 29-calendar year-outdated Ryan Folsom.
Folsom, a indigenous of Medford, Oregon who performed soccer at Brigham Young University in Utah, had been headed to Sacramento to interview for a health-related residency.
