Olympique Lyon – TSG 1899 Hoffenheim 2: 2 (2: 0) The first knockout round of the Champions League will be difficult for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, but it is still possible. The team of coach Julian Nagelsmann
fought for one at Olympique Lyon
0: 2-residue at halftime break still a 2: 2. Only in injury time could Hoffenheim avert a defeat.

This is the fourth winless group game for Hoffenheim. In order to make it into the knockout phase, they must win in the upcoming games against Shakhtar Donetsk and Manchester City and also to a defeat of Lyon
to hope. For Olympique Nabil Fekir (19 minutes) and Tanguy Ndombelé (28) met, the goals for the Hoffenheim shot Andrej Kramarić (65) and Pavel Kaderabek (90 + 2). After a yellow-red card for
Kasim Adams (51.) played the TSG long outnumbered.
Kraichgauer played courageously forward and from the beginning
were clearly superior in the initial phase. Lyon acted restrained
and with respect. Especially on the left side with young internationals Nico Schulz and Kramarić Hoffenheim was always dangerous. The good start phase was the TSG
but not in goals. Lyon began after the first goal for them more and more clearly with their fast Umschaltspiel – that presented the defense of Hoffenheimer several problems. The TSG defense presented
again as too inexperienced for European top level.
