Dan Larson was named Running Backs Coach at North Dakota State - NDSU Bison Athletics

FARGO, N.D. – Head football coach North Dakota State Matt Entz completed his coaching staff for the 2019 season with the addition of running trainer Dan Larson on Friday 11 January.

Larson was the head coach of his alma mater, Division III Wisconsin-Eau Claire, the last three seasons after eight years working as an attacking coordinator at Macalester (2008-12) and Minnesota-Duluth (2013-15).

Larson coached two seconds backwards at the FCS level at Colgate (2006-07), where in his last year he promoted to special team coordinator and coached All-America with Jordan Scott, the rushing leader of FCS in 2007.

As a completely defensive lineman at Wisconsin-Eau Claire, he stepped into the coaching ranks of the Marietta College in Ohio for two seasons (2003-04) before spending the 2005 season in Wisconsin-Stout.
