Fantasy football Week 10 rankings: Kareem Hunt still unstoppable - Charlotte Observer (blog)

1 Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City. Arizona

2 Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay vs. Miami

3 Jared Goff, LA Rams vs. Seattle

4 Philip Rivers, LA Chargers in Oakland … Rivers has averaged 312 passing yards and 2.4 touchdowns per game in his last five against Oakland and he should be good this week for similar numbers against an Oakland team that 31 5 points per game allowed (second most).

5 Drew Brees, New Orleans in Cincinnati … On the way, but it should not slow down Brees a lot against a defense that makes a league-high 319.4 yards pass per game.

6 Carson Wentz, Philadelphia. Dallas

7 Matt Ryan, Atlanta in Cleveland

8 Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tampa Bay. Washington

9 Cam Newton, Carolina in Pittsburgh

10 Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh vs. Carolina

11 Tom Brady, New England in Tennessee … Brady is dropping this week (compared to other elite options) against a Tennessee defense, allowing a league level of 17.6 points per game.

12 Andy Dalton, Cincinnati vs. New Orleans

13 Baker Mayfield, Cleveland versus Atlanta

14 Mitchell Trubisky, Chicago. Detroit

15 Russell Wilson, Seattle at LA Rams

16 Andrew Luck, Indianapolis vs. Jacksonville … Happiness comes in week 10 as the ninth best fantasy quarterback of the season, although this can take a week to avoid, as Jacksonville allows a league game of 190 yards per game.

17 Dak Prescott, Dallas in Philadelphia

18 Marcus Mariota, Tennessee vs. New England

19 Alex Smith, Washington in Tampa Bay

20 Blake Bortles, Jacksonville in Indianapolis

21 Eli Manning, NY Giants in San Francisco

22 Nick Mullens, San Francisco v. NY Giants … Mullens continues in the role of starter after an impressive first game ever for 262 yards and three touchdowns without interceptions.

23 Josh Rosen, Arizona in Kansas City

24 Matthew Stafford, Detroit in Chicago … Until now, life without Golden Tate yielded a 164-yard crash, zero-touchdown along with 10 pockets. Playing in Chicago again seems a rough week for the offense of Stafford and de Leeuwen.

25 Derek Carr, Oakland versus LA Chargers

26 Josh McCown, NY Jets vs. Buffalo … Sam Darnold (foot) is expected to miss week 10 and leave McCown to make his first start of the 2018 season.

2 Todd Gurley, LA Rams vs. Seattle

3 Saquon Barkley, NY Giants in San Francisco

4 Melvin Gordon, LA Chargers in Oakland … There is not much to be said to Gordon this week against a defense from Oakland that makes a league-high 144.5 rushing yards per game possible.

5 Alvin Kamara, New Orleans in Cincinnati … Expect a lot of points for the elite spirit of the Saints against a defense from Bengals that allows 35.7 points per game for the last three (most in the league) and most fantasy points to opposite running backs.

6 James Conner, Pittsburgh vs. Carolina … Carolina is not the easiest draw, but Conner has averaged 172.3 yards of scrimmage per game over his past four games and is a must-start.

7 Joe Mixon, Cincinnati vs. New Orleans

8 Tevin Coleman, Atlanta in Cleveland … Coleman arrives in Week 10 at a gigantic 154-yard, two-touchdown game and he should be in the shop for another big game against a Cleveland defense that 138.9 yards per game allows (4th most) and a league game of 1.6 hasty touchdowns per game.

9 David Johnson, Arizona in Kansas City … Johnson signs a defense in Kansas City giving the most fantasy points to opposite running backs.

10 Christian McCaffrey, Carolina in Pittsburgh

11 Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas in Philadelphia

12 James White, New England in Tennessee

13 Tarik Cohen, Chicago. Detroit

14 Aaron Jones, Green Bay vs. Miami

18 Nick Chubb, Cleveland versus Atlanta

19 Leonard Fournette, Jacksonville in Indianapolis … Fournette (hamstring) must be monitored, but he is expected to return this week.

22 Kenyan Drake, Miami on the Green Bay

23 Sony Michel, New England in Tennessee … Michel (knee) has to be monitored, but he is expected to come back this week.

30 T.J. Yeldon, Jacksonville in Indianapolis

31 Matt Breida, San Francisco versus NY Giants … Breida (ankle) should be monitored.

32 Kerryon Johnson, Detroit in Chicago

33 Peyton Barber, Tampa Bay. Washington

Wide receiver

1 Odell Beckham, NY Giants in San Francisco

3 Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh vs. Carolina

4 Julio Jones, Atlanta in Cleveland … Jones (finally) scored last week and leads the NFL in receiving yardage per game (117), while Browns' best defensive back Denzel Ward (hip) might have to to miss.

6 Tyreek Hill, Kansas City. Arizona

7 Davante Adams, Green Bay vs. Miami

8 Cooper Kupp, LA Rams vs. Seattle

9 Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati vs. New Orleans … Boyd remains busy with A.J. Green from this week and against a defense of the saints who gives the most fantasy points to opposite wide recipients.

10 Keenan Allen, LA Chargers in Oakland … All is over time for a touchdown (he has not scored since week 1), although the 152 yards from last week is a new high season.

11 Mike Evans, Tampa Bay. Washington

26 Kenny Golladay, Detroit in Chicago

27 Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Green Bay v. Miami … Valdes-Scantling should remain a strong fantasy option while Geronimo Allison put himself on the injured reserve – Valdes-Scantling has a touchdown or 100 yards in four straight games.

28 Christian Kirk, Arizona in Kansas City … Kirk and the other key players of the Cardinals have this week's sleep targets because they are likely to have to catch up against the Chiefs and against a team that has nearly three touchdowns per game.

30 Tyler Lockett, Seattle at LA Rams

31 Amari Cooper, Dallas in Philadelphia

32 Tyrell Williams, LA Chargers in Oakland

34 Devin Funchess, Carolina in Pittsburgh

35 Maurice Harris, Washington in Tampa Bay … Harris is on the fantasy radar of a career-high 10-catch, 124-yard game and opportunities should stay with Paul Richardson sent to wounded reserve plus this week he signs a Tampa Bay defense the second most imaginative points to opposite wide recipients.

36 Adam Humphries, Tampa Bay. Washington

37 Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay. Washington

38 Donte Moncrief, Jacksonville in Indianapolis

39 Randall Cobb, Green Bay vs. Miami … Cobb (hamstring) must be controlled.
