Major General Radhi Abdulmatti, president of the Consumer Protection Authority, today received a delegation from the Kuwait Ministry of Trade and Industry and the official of the National Committee for Consumer Protection in Kuwait at the headquarters of the Smart Village delegation.
The delegation listened to a detailed explanation by the Head of the Agency and the staff of different sections on the mechanisms for receiving complaints from citizens and ways of resolving them, the role of the Bureau in confronting unknown goods, procedures for checking the markets and protecting the rights of consumers.
The officials of the Kuwaiti delegation praised the initiative of the consumer protection agency "Week in love of the homeland", which focused on solving the complaints of citizens and the idea of the work team and the closed camp to solve complaints from citizens. with the participation of all companies and parties in the consumer system.
They also praised the monthly initiative launched by the Agency from this "open day to solve citizens' complaints" and is assigned on the second Monday of every month.
The Kuwaiti Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Dr. Khalid Ali Fadel, said he is looking forward to implementing these initiatives in Kuwait to convince him of their positive impact, which contributes to resolving citizens' complaints, and stressed the need to deploy cooperation mechanisms between Egyptian and the Kuwaiti side in the area of consumer protection.
He emphasized the depth of Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations in the context of the Egyptian state and the political leadership of President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi and Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait and the importance of cooperation between the two countries in different axes.
