The The Makati city government will implement a traffic diversion scheme in the city today (21 February) to kick off the parade back home for Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
"Please note that there will be a Grand Motorcade and a Ticker Tape Parade for the newly crowned 2018 Miss Universe Thursday along Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue (from Taft Avenue) and Ayala Avenue (from Sen. Salgado said the parade will start at 16:00, moving to the Freedom Park, located near the intersection of Ayala Avenue and Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, before continuing on to the Central Business District via Ayala Avenue.

To drive motorists, more than 200 traffic safety officers will be deployed along the parade route to assist.
Vehicles parked illegally and obstacles along the way will also be cleaned up before the parade.
