Turner was declared missing on Wednesday, January 23, around 4:00 PM. by the Hagerstown City Police.
Turner was last heard by his family on Sunday, January 20, and was known for being in the Hagerstown area.
The police immediately began treating the case as a potential murder due to the lack of information about his whereabouts and the nature of his disappearance.
Through tips to the police department they could find his car on January 24 in the west of Hagerstown.
The Berkeley sheriff's office informed the police that a body was found in their jurisdiction on January 30th.
Researchers traveled to West Virginia and identified the body positively as the missing 27-year-old.
The police say that the way and the state in which the body was found, indicate murder. His body was taken to the medical chief researcher's office in West Charleston, West Virginia for an autopsy.
The family has been informed. The police will continue to investigate the case until those responsible have been charged.
