North Dakota has in August three new highest values ever set in the oil fields.
Oil production reached 1,291,496 barrels per day, the production of natural gas also increased and there were more than 15,000 producing sources.
A new natural gas processing plant arrived online near Watford City on Friday. Officials say it can handle 200 million cubic feet per day. Another factory would open in November but has now been delayed.
"The information we received was that they could only get about 40% of the pipe fitters and welders they needed to assemble that installation and set it up on time, so that it is six months behind," said Lynn Helms, department minister of mineral resources.
The gas collection condition of the state will be increased to 88 percent on 1 November.
