The group photo was released last night by Buckingham Palace.
It was taken in the White Drawing Hall of Windsor Castle after Friday's wedding.
Royal writer and commentator Phil Dampier said: "It is very important – and could be a step to end the feud.
"It shows Sarah Ferguson again in the middle of the royal family and will only feed the rumors that she and Prince Andrew will one day remarry.
"The most important thing is that she is standing right next to Prince Philip, who has not spoken to her for more than 20 years.
"He once called her" oddly "and" meaningless "and would not be in the same room as she." In recent years, Sarah has been invited to stay with the Queen at Balmoral.
Every time she had to leave the day before Prince Philip arrives.
"He blamed her for shaming the royal family and could not understand why Andrew let her go back to him at Royal Lodge, his home in Windsor, when they had been divorced for so long.

"Philip would not have made a bad feeling at the wedding and made his granddaughter Eugenie angry.
"But maybe, at 97, he decided that life is too short to keep Fergie sick.
"Fergie will be relieved that she is no longer a figure of ridicule and that she has shown sympathy and respect by Philip when posing with her."
Prince Andrew made a joke to groom Jack during his wedding speech and stated brutally that he had ordered MI5 ghosts to have his new son-in-law checked.

On the front page yesterday, The Sun told how the Duchess was six minutes late for the wedding at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Andrew told playfully to guests as she looked at Fergie: "It's great to have the whole family together – even if some of us do not save it."
Fergie was snap-happy with her camera and wanted to document every last detail of Eugenie's special day.
She and Andrew – parents of Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, 30 – divorced in 1996. But they have remained good friends and were both closely involved in planning the wedding.
