Hunter Henry can finally play in 2018.
The tight end of the former Arkansas has a chance to come back next month for the Los Angeles Chargers, although it was initially ruled out for the year after tearing its ACL in May, according to an ESPN report. Although the report featured Henry's possible return as a "long shot", the 6-2 Chargers are considering bringing him back to a strengthening of their playoff push.
Henry is in the Los Angeles reservation – physically unable to compile list after suffering the knee injury in a contactless exercise during OTA's. But sources cited by ESPN claimed that the former Razorback is recovering well and has a positive attitude.
During his first two years in the NFL Henry caught 81 passes at 1,057 yards and 12 touchdowns. He only adds those outstanding totals if he is actually able to return for the chargers this season.
