LANSING – A suspect is in custody in connection with the shooting of another man on Sunday morning early.

The Lansing police said they responded to reports of shots fired at a big party in the 200-block of South Washington Avenue just before 1:30 PM. A 21-year-old Grand Rapids man was shot. He was admitted to hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

Officers took a 29-year-old Lansing man in custody, and the incident remains under investigation.
