The president of the Yabloko party, Emilia Slabunova, demanded Russian president Vladimir Putin to dismiss Rosgvardia's head, Victor Zolotov, who summoned opposition blogger Alexei Navalny to the duel. This is reported on the party's website.

According to Slabunova, in Zolotov's actions, it is possible to identify crimes in two articles – "threat of murder or inflicting serious damage to health, committed on the grounds of political hatred or enmity" and "incitement to hatred or hostility, as well as humiliation of human dignity ". The head of Yabloko also claims that the actions of the head of Rosgvardia "discredit the honor and dignity of the officer and are incompatible with the position that is taken".

In this connection, the politician from the head of the Russian state Putin demanded to fire Zolotov. Slabunova also appealed to Attorney General Yury Chaika requesting that the words of the head of Rosgvardia contain crimes.
