Ulyanovsk authorities began to check food complaints with worms :: Society :: RBC after schoolchildren

The authorities of Ulyanovsk started to check the local gymnasium no. 33 for the violation of the organization of food by the management of the educational institution. This is on the website of the city council.

The local edition of "Media 73" notes that the test at the school started at the initiative of the regional governor Sergey Morozov after complaints from parents – at lunch the students found worms in waffles. "The gymnasium is the elite of our education, when such wildness takes place there, what then in the rest. <...> You can not close your eyes for this, "he said.

As the publication shows, the incident was discussed at a meeting on 6 February, during which the Minister of Education and Science of the Natalya Semyonova region, the management of the gym and representatives of the Federal Office for the supervision of the protection of consumer rights and human services participated.

The offense was revealed by the committee for rejection of gymnasium and confiscated all products. At the same time, the control of the company "Alternative" – the supplier of food to the gym – did not reveal similar cases in other schools and kindergartens of Ulyanovsk.

"The head of the catering department of the Ulyanovsk gymnasium hall 33, who committed a serious offense, has already been dismissed, all responsible persons in the catering department are under disciplinary responsibility and are preparing a complaint at the supplier's address." – stated in the message.

Earlier in Ulyanovsk the investigation committee opened a criminal case after 25 pupils of the Suvorov Military School got sick of echinococcosis, a parasitic infection caused by tapeworms. The school is conducting an epidemiological study, but the management of the school claims that the cadet's disease is in no way related to the organization of food and sanitary conditions at school.
