Manchester United may have won the Premier League season, but it was another rather sad night for Alexis Sanchez. There has been much discussion in view of the new campaign that Sanchez could be set for a great season at Old Tarfford, having had his first summer for years due to the failure to reach the World Cup by Chile. But if This evening's show is something to be done, then the former man of Arsenal remains a shadow of the player who regularly electrified the Emirates. Sanchez was poor throughout the Friday night clash against Leicester City when the United States kicked off their new campaign with a nervous 2-1. Paul Pogba opened the scoring from the penalty spot before Luke Shaw doubled the home team lead when the game entered the last 10 minutes. Jamie Vardy pulled back a goal for the visitors, but United continued to claim the three points. But it was the demonstration of Sanchez that was a great point of discussion on social media during and after the game, with many Arsenal fans expressing their opinion on Arsene Wenger's decision to sell the attacker at the United.
