Alcácer celebrates a furious comeback in the national team of Spain

Wales – Spain 1: 4 (0: 3)

A good two and a half years after his last international match Paco Alcácer celebrated a brilliant return. In the 8th minute, he scored the 1-0 for his Spaniard in the match in Wales. It was Alcácer's first goal in the national jersey for more than three years. After a 2-0 from Sergio Ramos, the attacker of Borussia Dortmund even increased to 3: 0 in the 29th minute. Alcácer was replaced by Iago Aspas in the 73rd minute.

A minute later, former Borussia captain Marc Bartra headed home 4-0, before Sam Vokes scored the only goal for Wales one minute before the end. It was after the two successes against England (2-1) and Croatia (6-0), the third consecutive victory for Spain after the knockout stages at the World Cup against host Russia.

France – Iceland 2: 2 (0: 1)

World champion France turned a few days before the home game in the Nations League away against ex-Germany a shame. Despite stars like Antoine Griezmann, Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane in the basic line-up, the French against Iceland were already behind 0: 2 by goals from Birkir Bjarnason (30 minutes) and Kari Arnason (58th minute).

Only after Icelandic goalkeeper Holmar had scored Oern Eyjolfsson in the 86th minute, did Didier Deschamps take a second place and in the 90th minute with a Kylian Mbappé penalty.
