Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi joins Valencia for a one-season loan

Michy Batshuayi has agreed to join the Spanish club of Valencia with a one-season loan from Chelsea. The striker, who spent the second half of last season at Borussia Dortmund, is moving to the Liga looking for a regular football.
The new Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri, could not guarantee Batshuayi that he would start the games with the signing of Alvaro Morata's record at the club.
After going to the World Cup with Belgium and struck in Dortmund, Batshuayi did not want to start this season on the substitute bench.
Chelsea will receive a large loan to Batshuayi and have not included an option for Valencia to buy it at the end of the loan.
Batshuayi's decision to go could mean that Tammy Abraham, who has spent the last two seasons on loan to Bristol City and Swansea City, remains in the club.
