Chelsea team numbers for the 2018-19 Premier League season

Chelsea have confirmed the numbers of their teams for the 2018-19 season of the Premier League.

The Blues have made four purchases in the first summer of Maurizzio Sarri and, of course, all four go straight into their team of 25 men.

The most expensive goalkeeper in the world, Kepa Arrizabalaga, was awarded the number one shirt, with Willy Caballero who came down to take the number 13 left free by the passage of Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid.

Jorginho, who followed Sarri from Napoli to Stamford Bridge, took the number five, while the central midfielder who signed Mateo Kovacic will wear 17 during the season on loan from Real Madrid.

Robert Green, who entered as a free agent, took the jersey number 31 and Callum Hudson-Odoi switched to number 20, another suggestion for a more important role this season.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek takes the jersey number 12 after returning from his season on loan at Crystal Palace, after wearing the number 14 shirt during the 2016/17 season, while Tammy Abraham is back from a loan and wears 19.
