The Uruguayan threatens to add to PSG injury problems after suffering an apparent thigh problem on Saturday after scoring against Bordeaux
Thomas Tuchel has admitted he has no access to Marco Verratti and Edinson Cavani for Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League in Manchester United on Tuesday.
Cavani scored the only goal of the game in the PSG victory against Bordeaux on Saturday, but he was not able to finish the match and limped immediately after finding the net, apparently with a thigh strain.
Uruguay International was one of the few PSG stars to start the game, as Tuchel held reserves such as Leandro Paredes and Kylian Mbappe in the squad, ahead of the first knockout rounds at Old Trafford.
The PSG is already without Neymar for the match and Tuchel accepts that Cavani can also miss, facing the champions of Ligue 1 with a hard blow in front of a side of United who won 10 of the 11 possible games under temporary manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
"There are a lot of B plans now," Tuchel told reporters. "Without Ney [Neymar], perhaps without Marco, perhaps without Edi [Cavani], now we need a plan D.
"I can not think of many different plans in advance, we have to analyze Manchester United, we must stay calm and confident.
"Normally, my opinion is very clear: for a match against Manchester United, for a match against Liverpool or even against Red Star Belgrade, you need your key players with confidence, experience, quality, used to playing that kind of game, they are used to playing big games full of pressure, which they are used to handling pressure.

"But if two or three key players are not here, it's our duty to find solutions – it's very difficult if we play with our best team, it's a big challenge – if we miss many key players, it's an even bigger challenge, but we'll be ready on Tuesday, I think. "
Verratti played for an hour Saturday after three weeks of ankle injury, and Tuchel admitted he had to risk the Italian due to injury problems.
"Obviously, we are very happy that Marco has returned with us," added Tuchel. "Bring quality, as we could see today." After leaving the field, it was more difficult for us to control the game.
"Normally, it's very difficult to play so early when you're injured like Marco did, it was his first game since his injury.

"He played 60 minutes, I do not know if it is possible for him to play again at Old Trafford against Manchester United only three days later.
"But, in our situation, perhaps it is necessary to try to make it play, we have to decide tomorrow [Sunday] about that. We have to wait for Marco's opinion.
"But, of course, I already know Marco's opinion, if I ask him if he can play [he will want to play] … But we have to wait for the doctor's opinion to see if it's possible or not. "
