Mateo Kovacic drops a huge clue to his future after joining Chelsea on loan from Real Madrid

Mateo Kovacic could make his Chelsea debut at Huddersfield on Saturday afternoon after completing a loan from Real Madrid on Thursday. Having clarified that he wanted to leave the Santiago Bernabeu before the new season, the Croatian international finally expressed his wish as he headed for the capital. Signed by Inter in 2015, the 24 year-old has struggled to find a permanent position in the Los Blancos team, as he is competing with Casemiro, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric for a place in the starting XI. While his loan contract is only for the season, his message seems very similar to that which will not make a return to the Champions League holders in July.
