Wantaway star Paris Saint Germain Adrien Rabiot will no longer be considered by manager Thomas Tuchel, as he continues to liquidate his contract to leave the French capital as a free agent.
Tuchel has confirmed this week that the 23-year-old will not be included in his plans as he prepares to oversee a Champions League assault along with maintaining the Ligue 1 title.
It is believed that Rabiot has now been asked to train with reserves rather than with the senior team by order of President Nasser Al-Khelaifi, as he leaves the club.
Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that he will no longer consider the star of the vagabond Adrien Rabiot
Both Barcelona and Chelsea have been linked to moves, although Catalonia seems to be its most likely destination this summer.
"I have to prepare my team for Guingamp and it will be a team without Adrien Rabiot.
"I respect the club's decision and it's a club decision," Tuchel said of the situation, as a reporting purpose.
While the cash-rich PSG was naturally linked to several players in place of Rabiot, Tuchel would not be attracted to any speculation.
The director is running his contract before he leaves Paris
It is said that the side of Ligue 1 looks at the former pupil of Tuchel, the young Julian Weigl, but the German coach refused to comment.
& # 39; Weigl? I can not talk about players in another club, "added Tuchel.
"Julian was one of my players, but belongs to Dortmund. We are working hard to recruit a defensive midfielder. "
The PSG currently has 10 points of advantage in France, despite having played three games less than Lille in second place.
While the league could be almost sold out, the Parisians must overcome Manchester United if they want to triumph on the European stage.
Rabiot has been linked to both Barcelona and Chelsea, but seems destined to move to Spain
The last 16 draws seemed favorable for the PSG, with United in difficulty under the reign of Jose Mourinho.
A rebirth under the provisional head Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has however seen the Red Devils win every game under his guidance until today.
The PSG meets United on February 12th at Old Trafford, for the first of the two stages.
