UEFA announced the appointment of Turkish referee Coneet Shakir to manage the match between Liverpool and Paris St Germain in the Champions League.
Liverpool will organize the Paris team next Tuesday at Anfield, the bastion of the Reds, at the opening of Group C of the Champions League.
The game is led by a Turkish team led by 41-year-old ruler Shakir, assisted by Bahatyn Duran and Tariq Ongun, as well as Hussien Gocek and Paris Simsek, according to the official WIFA website.
Liverpool is the first in the history of the Champions League against Paris and the two teams have already been dealt with in the semi-final of the European Cup in 1997 and the Parisians have qualified after a 3-2 victory in the total.
Liverpool remained unbeaten in the Champions League in its last 16 games (11 wins and 5 draws), while Paris scored three of their previous three group games.
The draw attracted Liverpool and Paris St Germain in Group C, including Napoli and the Serbian Red Star.
