Reportedly, ANDREY ARSHAVIN's wife filed a police complaint against him on charges of threatening behavior.
The news comes after Alisa, reportedly, "threatened to take off a model's finger" after the Arsenal legend was captured to pamper the prosperous blonde.
And the couple continues to hit the headlines with the Russian news agency tass claiming that the 35-year-old has reported the former Zenit star to the police.
They claim that Arshavin, 37, has sent telephone threats and text messages to his partner.
Alisa's lawyer, Alexander Dobrovinsky, said: "A statement to the police was presented on threats from her [Arshavin] side."
The couple – who got married in 2016 and has a daughter together – is currently in the middle of a divorce, with proceedings going on at the World Court in Petersburg.
Arshavin – who has three children with his first wife Julia Baranovskaya – has been accused of having a relationship during their marriage.
Speaking in 2017, Alisa said: "The fact of cheating was just one of the reasons that led me to make such a decision (divorce).
Also adding: "Adult people do not fight, adult people make decisions and leave.
"I did not leave it for someone else, this I would like to stress from the beginning."
Arshavin – who retired at the end of last year after a three year period alongside Kazakh Kairat – sent social media to the merger in December after a night-out.
The Euro 2008 semi-finalist was taken tripping over a strip club, before climbing a horse bizarrely.
Subsequently, Alisa closed her social media accounts, insisting that she would not be back "until the dust settled down".
Arshavin returned to Zenit after his retreat to direct a new academy to recruit stars of the future.
He said of the work: "The project that I will bring is in almost all the big clubs.
"This is a training camp where the most talented children from all regions of Russia will be invited, all year."
