The midfielder is currently on loan in Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich
Liverpool and Manchester United will have to pay 70 million pounds if they want to sign the Real Madrid flop, James Rodriguez, as reported.
Rodriguez was sent on a two-year loan to Bayern Munich after failing to recruit a seat on the Real team.
With Zinedine Zidane returning as head of the Los Blancos, it seems unlikely that the Colombian international has a future at the Bernabeu.
Bayern has an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season, but only if it can pay the agreed fee of 50 million pounds.
According to the Spanish newspaper El Confidencial, Madrid is trying to get more money for the 27-year-old to increase the transfer budget for a huge summer review under Zidane.
Jurgen Klopp and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could both be in the queue to sign Rodriguez – but it will cost him.
Although the La Liga giants will need 70 million pounds, it is clear that they would settle for 60 million euros (51 million pounds).
The spurs are resigned to losing Eriksen, but I hope to sign five players this summer & # 39;

According to AS, the newspaper said: "Bayern paid Real Madrid 6.5 million euros per season (which James was on loan in Monaco), and if they want to keep him they will have to activate a purchase clause set at 42 million EUR.
"If Bayern finally decides not to keep the player, Madrid will put him on the market for 60 million euros, an initial price that will never drop more than 50".
Bayern has until 15 June to make a decision on Rodriguez.
