Black Girls Code and Microsoft host programming code for young women in Southpoint

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) –

Saturday morning a code lesson for young women was held by Black Girls Code and Microsoft at the Southpoint Roads.

The two-hour free introductory course was held at the Microsoft store for young women aged 10 to 13 interested in coding.

Students used the block code in MakeCode Arcade to create their own videogame.
