It is one of the most detailed maps of the surface of Mars ever made, and shows, among other things, mountains, volcanoes and craters.
With the help of NASA satellite data, Google launched the Google Mars site, which allows Internet users to explore the surface of Mars with its mountains, volcanoes and craters in detail.
The data compiled by researchers at Arizona State University (USA) were allowed to create one of the most accurate maps of that planet to date.
Interactive in nature, it is used in the same way as the Google Maps service and allows users to navigate, expand and select different places.
Our planetary neighbor can be seen in three versions, thanks to a height map showing the topography of the planet, a visible map with the highest resolution and an infrared map that considers the temperature as variable.
