Hymn it is not yet available for PS4 and Xbox One, but fans are already thinking about the future of the game. From Hymn it's a live service game, with BioWare apparently planning support it for 10 years, some fans have wondered if it will eventually be transferred to next-generation consoles. And even if we do not have an official confirmation on the opportunity or not of a next-generation version of Hymn is actively developing, Chad Robertson, head of BioWare's Live service, has confirmed that the bailouts will be transferred to next-generation consoles in case of opportunity.
Responding to a fan on Twitter, Robertson said the rescue files "will always remain" when fans switch to next-generation consoles. Robertson has stopped specifying specifically the PS5 and the next Xbox, but since then Hymn is set to launch for PS4 and Xbox One, it is a safe bet that they would be the consoles to which it refers.
Rescue transfers were common in the transition from the seventh generation of consoles to the eighth, as many of the early titles for PS4 and Xbox One were enhanced ports for PS3 and Xbox 360 games. It seems likely that we'll see something like this. beginning of the PS5 and the next Xbox, and since then Hymn releasing relatively late in the eighth generation console cycle, a next-gen version makes a lot of sense.

Of course, this probably depends on how successful it is Hymn it's when he finally launches at the end of this month. The demo of the game was met with a slightly mixed reception, earning some praise for its frenetic action, but criticized for technical problems and its similarities with Destiny. And with many other games in the style of live service to compete with, it is not clear if Hymn will be able to carve out his piece of cake being released.
Self Hymn it succeeds and manages to build and maintain a considerable player base, so a next-gen version is almost guaranteed. However, it is possible that if the rumors are true on the next Xbox and PS5 that supports compatibility with previous versions, perhaps Hymn it will simply be a play of eighth generation playable on ninth generation hardware, as opposed to an actual door.
We have not seen anything official yet on new generation consoles, so we're worried about how Hymn It will sound on them is a little premature. Once the next-generation consoles are revealed, we will have a clearer idea of the opportunity or not for BioWare and Electronic Arts to bring Hymn to the new platforms.
Hymn will be launched on February 22 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
