"Available soon". In these terms, Microsoft is talking about the upcoming arrival of the Surface Headphones audio headset in France. The company Satya Nadella has taken the opportunity to create an official page for the product and specify an introductory price. It amounts to 379 euros.
This high-end headset was announced a few months ago thanks to the visual charter and design specifically for the Surface series, thanks to an event in New York that allowed Microsoft to lift the veil on the Surface Laptop 2, Surface Studio 2 and Surface Pro 6 ( you can find a selection here).
A helmet trimmed to enter the big leagues
With a price of less than 400 euros, Microsoft makes sure that the Surface Headphones stack is placed for the very popular Bose QC 35 and Sony WH-1000XM3, which have already been announced as the main rivals.
The helmet of the Redmond company does not have to blush against the tenors of the genre. The Surface Headphones benefit especially from a USB Type-C connection, touch controls, a total of 8 microphones and an active noise reduction that can be adjusted on the fly by means of a wheel around the left atrium.
For the rest, Microsoft announces the integration of Cortana (his personal assistant, currently unavailable on iOS and Android in France) and an estimated autonomy of 15 hours of listening pleasure. Fully charged, it should not take more than two hours, the company says on its site.
Last unknown: the launch date of this Surface headphone in France.
