"New Zealand's darkest day": celebrities, politicians, others share Heartbreak on Twitter

Political figures, business leaders, celebrities and others have used social media to share their sorrow for the victims of mass shootings in New Zealand on Friday.

At least 40 people were killed and dozens were injured in attacks on two mosques in Christchurch. In one of the mosques, hundreds of worshipers were in the midst of Friday prayers when the gunman opened fire, according to Radio New Zealand.

Four people were arrested.
