Last week there were some announcements from owners of new Turing graphics cards that focused on the Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Ti. According to the reports, there are problems with this model, which is currently mainly circulated as Founders edition of Nvidia, ranging from crashes with blue screens to image errors or complete failures.

We have also spoken about it and pointed out that there are so many reports on the Nvidia forum or at Reddit that they no longer seem to be the individual cases that are expected. Even exchange models should have partly the same errors.
But without the number of copies actually sold, this can be difficult to assess and users without problems usually report rarely. In return, the buyers of such a costly graphics card in response to a defect are likely to react much more sensitively than normal.
Gamers Nexus wants to investigate some of the deceased Geforce RTX 2080 Ti, when their readers are ready to send it. In the meantime, the website has also contacted sources from video card manufacturers and unofficially speaking with almost every Nvidia partner. None reported an unusually high number of defective cards and corresponding returns.

The RMA reasons given by customers did not change and in fact the RMA interest rate is currently extremely low. For some manufacturers, this is less than 0.01 percent. However, this can also be due to the fact that there are still so few copies that simply no errors can occur. Gamers Nexus wants to investigate the problem even further.
