The new CRPGs arrived on PS4 in the form of Pillars of Eternity and the games of Divinity, but the games that served as inspiration and basis for those games also arrived on PS4. The Walking Dead's season finale, Telltale's Skybound Games, has collaborated with Beamdog to deliver six CRPG classics to the PS4 this year.
The games were titans of their time. Include Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate II, Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights and Planescape: Torment. The released version will be the improved version of the games, so expect improvements if you've only played the originals. Even if they are already on PC, it will be nice to have the convenience of the PS4.
This is just a preliminary announcement, so that's all we know for now. If you're looking for other Dungeons and Dragons in your life, keep checking with us, and we'll let you know when these adventures will be available.
Jason became terminally addicted to video games after receiving NES at an early age. This addiction has grown to include PC games and has been cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was plagued with epic role-playing games, tense shooters and deep strategy games, without ever becoming proficient, but never able to stop. Keep playing (bad) and share his passion for them with anyone who wants to listen.
