The lack of respect for black women continues, even in the realm of fantasy.

Friday, when Marvel Studios released their official trailer for Avengers: Endgame, they also published the official poster of the film. Shortly thereafter, people noticed that among the 13 actors in the main cast only 12 of their names got the highest billing on the poster – including Bradley Cooper whose face wasn't even in the movie (as he dubbed the raccoon of the animated space , Rocket).

Guess whose name was missing? Yes, it was the only black woman in the cast. The name of the actress Danai Gurira was left completely out of billing on the poster, and instead went to the tiny print below.

Gurira, who played General Okoye, leader, all around badass is asskicker in Black Panther and apparently will appear as revenge of the Black Panther End of the game it was the only one relegated to the back. This is particularly irritating because Black Panther is Marvel's highest grossing film!
